“Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.” ~Martin Luther

Welcome to Our Father's Music Ministry!

It is our joy and privilege as musicians, and as children of our Heavenly Father, to worship Him in song. Here at Our Father we use a variety of musical forms and styles to sing, ring, and play our praises to our King. It is our hope and prayer that we use our God-given gifts and talents to the best of our abilities, and that our music might teach, uplift, and touch the lives of all who enter His courts to praise.

Upcoming Concerts/Special Events - Our Father loves to host different music groups, like the St. Olaf choir, the Queen City Jazz Band, music groups from the Concordias and more! This page will help keep you updated with different concerts and special events being hosted, or supported by OFLC.

The Concordia University Chicago Wind Symphony will perform at Our Father on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 7:00 PM.  The Wind Symphony is the premiere instrumental ensemble at Concordia University and maintains an active performance schedule, having performed in schools, churches and concert halls in 43 states, Canada, Eastern Europe and China.  The group has a commitment to the finest traditional and contemporary sacred and secular repertoire.  Our Father Lutheran Church is honored with the opportunity to host this concert during the ensemble's spring tour.  There is no admission for the concert though we will take a free-will offering that evening.  Help spread the word and bring a friend (or two!) to help support this talented group of students.  Read more about the director and symphony.
