The ministry work of Our Father is
accomplished through the following organization structure, which
encourages broad participation from our congregational members:
Parish Council
– This is the chief governing body of the congregation. It is
responsible for all matters pertaining to the legal and general
welfare of the congregation including long range and strategic
planning. In consultation with the Senior Pastor and Ministry
Council, Parish Council develops and approves the annual budget
and operating plan for presentation to the congregation at its
annual Voters’ Assembly meeting. The Parish Council consists of
the Senior Pastor, President, Vice President, Secretary and
Treasurer, plus four confirmed members, elected at large by the
voters.
Ministry
Council – This council is comprised of Ministry Coordinators
who are responsible for the implementation and oversight of the
ministry and related administrative activities consistent with
the annual budget, operating plan and directives as approved by
the voters. The council under direct supervision of the Senior
Pastor meets at least bimonthly to communicate and coordinate
their respective ministry and administrative activities.
Ministry Coordinators manage all boards and committees related
to their areas. Ministry Coordinators are appointed annually by
the Senior Pastor and serve in one of the following areas:
Worship, Stewardship, Education, Youth, Special Ministries, Lay
Ministry, Fellowship, Member Integration, Outreach, and
Property.
Boards
and Committees –
These are the “worker bees” who do the actual ministry in each
of the areas for which they are responsible. |
