YSLETA LUTHERAN MISSION

Hands Reaching Out

Our Father participates in many ministries which reach beyond our physical borders. One of these is the Ysleta Lutheran Mission, located one mile from the Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. Each year, during Tnanksgiving week, families from Our Father travel to El Paso to serve Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, and do a work project on Friday and Saturday. Youth and adults from Our Father have also done work projects many summers to support Ysleta. Financial assistance is also funded through our benevelance offerings.

Ministry at YLM began in 1981 in El Paso and soon joined the work that the LCMS Rocky Mountain District and local congregations were doing in their outreach in Mexico.  Through the work of the Holy Spirit, YLM's ministry continues to grow on both sides of the border.  Please take time to learn more about the many facets of the ministry at YLM

Each year, donations from churches and individuals become instruments of help and hope for people in need.  Gifts of food, vitamins, household items, ministry supplies, and financial resources enable YLM to proclaim the gospel and respond to the needs of those around us.
