An Alternative Way to Give and Make a Difference in the World.

Our 28th annual Alternative Gift Market will take place during the month of November in 2023.  Last year we raised $21,500 for our causes thanks to the generosity of our donors. 

Rather than buying a traditional gift for a loved one, shoppers can honor their friends and family by donating to various national and international humanitarian projects throughout the world. 

For example, instead of giving Uncle George a tie or some other traditional gift for Christmas, you can provide water wells in South Sudan, shoes and clothing for children in Cambodia, or bread and books for schools in Hungary. Uncle George will receive a greeting card with an enclosed gift insert, which will describe the humanitarian cause that received your donation in his honor. When you give an alternative gift, you are giving freedom, hope, peace and security to those in need.

How Do I Participate?

+ View the different humanitarian projects featured in our Alternative Gift Market

+ Download the order form

+ Complete the order form, scan or photograph it, and email it to AGM@oflc.net.  (You can also just email your choices by including the cause number, quantity, and total cost in the body of the email.)

+ Payment will be collected on the day you pick up your cards at OFLC.

+ Please email your order forms by November 15.

Order Packaging, Payment, & Pickup

+ Your completed order, which includes a Christmas Card and description insert for each cause you selected, will be available for pick up in the church lobby on Saturday, November 18, from 3:30-5:30pm, and Sunday, November 19, from 8 thru 12pm (Volunteers will be choosing the Christmas card designs for you this year, as we cannot facilitate personal selections or offer calligraphy.)

+ Payment will be collected at pick-up. Checks or cash are preferred, but credit cards are also accepted. Make checks payable to OFLC. You can also mail in your payment to: OFLC, Attention: AGM, 6335 S. Holly Street, Centennial, CO 80122 and indicate for AGM on your check.
